The Prodding Hand Protector PHP protects against fragments of anti-personnel landmines while detecting with a prodding needle. It offers protection against anti-personal landmines with a protection level of v50 = 450 m/s (1476 ft/s) according to STANAG 2920 and fulfills IMAS 10.30. It consists of Aramid® canvas and is especially designed to protect hands against fragments of exploding mines while using a prodding needle.
