The Demining Helmet DHV5 offers a high protection thanks to the combination of a ballistic helmet and a fixed 5 mm (0.17 in) polycarbonate visor. The protection level of the helmet is v50 = 620 m/s (2034 ft/s) according to STANAG 2920 and level IIIA according to NIJ 0106.01. The protection level of the visor is v50 = 250 m/s (820 ft/s) according to STANAG 2920 and it fulfills IMAS 10.30. The helmet and its parts are resistant to all weather conditions.
