The Force Ware Bomb Bin is designed for use in public and commercial areas. Especially post room staff are generally considered to be at greater risk of terrorist attack through letter or parcel bombs.

The Bomb Bin suppresses the effects of explosive devices by directing the blast. It reduces the risk of injury to personnel and damage to property from primary and secondary fragmentation. The Composite construction withstands blast and fragments from IEDs containing up to approx. 500 g (1.10 lbs) of PE4 (C4).

The content of the bomb bin can be easily X-rayed. Therefore, the removable inner bag is designed to position a suspect device upright to allow X-Ray inspection whilst in the container. The Bomb Bin can also be easily carried on a pallet.
