No. Hardware-store compressors produce low pressure (~125 psi) and unfiltered air. The EasyDive operates at 3000 psi, requiring a proper high-pressure breathing-air source.
TSA requires the removal of tank valves, which are professionally attached to the EasyDive’s small diving cylinder. For that reason, we recommend shipping the empty unit to your destination and refilling it locally.
Rinse thoroughly after each dive, store with a minimal air charge, and service the regulator annually. Cylinders require hydrostatic testing every five years at a certified dive shop.
Scuba training and certification are strongly recommended for safe underwater use.
