This non-destructive method detects magnetic anomalies in the ground, enabling the localization of hidden structures such as foundations, trenches or burial grounds. VALLON’s fluxgate magnetometers transform measurement data into detailed magnetic maps of the subsurface. The centerpiece of our magnetometer systems is the VSM4 digital probe. With a compensation range of ±20,000 nT (VSM4) or ±300,000 nT (VSM4plus), it is suitable for the most demanding measurement tasks. The modern tension band technology guarantees lasting measurement accuracy without recalibration. The VSM4 is compatible with all VALLON systems and can be used in a modular fashion from a single-channel system to an 8-channel system.
