The Mine Protection Suit MPS2 Advanced is an modular demining suit and well-ventilated. It has been designed with regards to the requirements of major humanitarian and military demining organizations.
The inside Aramid® layer is especially designed for protection against fragments of exploding anti-personnel mines. The MPS2 Advanced offers a protection level of v50 = 450 m/s (1476 ft/s) according to STANAG 2920 and fulfills IMAS 10.30.
With its arm and leg protectors, it offers significantly more protection than conventional demining aprons.
